Senior Stylist

I am originally from Riga, Latvia. In 2005 I permanently moved to beautiful Ireland. I was lucky enough to arrive to Leitrim in 2005 and this is where myself and my family now call home. I have two beautiful kids and they are my world. I work hard and train hard to show them you can be anything you want to be when you put your mind to it. In 2013 I started my journey as hairdresser. I began my education in hairdressing at Sligo College of Further Education. After two amazing years, I qualified as a Hairdresser. In my final year, I was awarded as a "Student of the Year" as well as being awarded the "City and Guilds Awards Medal for Excellence".

I am delighted to say that I began my first work experience module with Laila Valentino Hairdressing and continue to work with this incredible team whilst to graduating to Senior Stylist.

During all these years with Laila, I constantly strive to improve my skills and I attend different courses including MATRIX "The Art of Hair Up" MATRIX "Craft Cutting" BARBERCIDE "High standard of Hygiene in Salon" and many more.

Alongside my first love of hairdressing I am also a blogger. I have my own personal Instagram blog "Hairstyles_by_DIAN" This is where I love to share my creativity, my work and some major hair inspiration. I think it is so important to constantly up-skill in areas such as bridal & casual hairstyles.I also love sharing tutorials in which students and apprentices can learn and share my techniques.
